A great week for Motown lovers; the latest issue of Mojo is a Tamla special and is actually worth buying. The cover mount comp CD has been really well selected by Lois Wilson, spanning ’62 – ’70. This (Smokey & the Miracles) track isn’t on there but is one of my faves;

Then, tonight’s ‘Culture Show‘ (BBC 2, 10pm) has Martin Freeman in Detroit talking with Mary Wilson & Martha Reeves among others, and at the same time on Radio Two there is ‘King of Motown; Berry Gordy’ followed at 11.30 by ‘Stubborn Kind of Fella‘ a Marvin Gaye doc. Guess they will be on the i player in the morning. (JB)
