A gorgeous summer bird, cute as a button made of butter but as nervous as a fireguard made of chocolate. Many are spotted whilst accompanying us on our countryside strolls, not that he likes our company its just that he thinks we are following him . Mainly to be found in allotments, fields and hedgerows frantically chirping their “chi chi chi” song which I think roughly translates as “help!, help!, help!”.
