Water, like everything else, has been brought to a virtual standstill by the big chill; literally frozen in time. As it tarries for a while on the Pennines, billions of individual crystals act in concert to create immensely beautiful sculptures that playfully mimic the movement of water in its more fluid forms.
Droplets dilly dally, stretching to create cascades of icicles
Resting like clouds on the boughs of Scots Pine
