Waterfront: a new magazine from the Canal & Rivers Trust. Edited by our very own Emma Warren and featuring contributions from several writers who will be instantly familiar to regular readers of Caught by the River.

In issue 1 – out now – Roy Wilkinson goes fishing with a Wurzel on the Bridgewater Canal, John Andrews closes the 2014-15 coarse fishing season with a visit to the Kennet and Avon and Ben McCormick manages to squeeze in a pint. No change there then.

It’s a great looking thing too. The design aesthetic (art direction by Studio Pensom) is super cool and the cover is sublime, bringing to my mind the best of the classic 1950’s Country Fair magazines.
