You may have already seen whispers around the internet of our involvement with this summer’s inaugural Kaleidoscope Festival. Consider this your official invitation to join us at the event on Saturday 21 July, where our special extended stage slot will feature:
- Bestselling H is for Hawk author Helen Macdonald, in conversation with CBTR mainstay Tim Dee – editor of the anthology Ground Work: Writings on People and Place, to which she has contributed;
- readings by Caught by the River poets-in-residence Will Burns and Martha Sprackland;
- former Hefner frontman Darren Hayman, discussing and performing songs from his Thankful Villages project.
As ever, our trusty MC John Andrews will be there to steer the ship.
Kaleidescope Festival, a ‘kaleidoscopic voyage through music and arts’, takes place on Saturday 21 July in the grounds of London’s Alexandra Palace. Further lineup info and tickets are available here.
