If we may unhumbly say, our first two Arts Council-funded Social Clubs – which took place last Wednesday and Thursday at Todmorden’s Golden Lion and Huddersfield’s Small Seeds – were a roaring success. Thank you Anna Wood, Amy Liptrot, Zaffar Kunial, Jessica J. Lee, Nina Mingya Powles, Michael Malay, Roy, Kevin Boniface, Toria Garbutt, John Head, Gig, Waka and Noah. Our next event takes place in Bristol on 6 December, with readings and conversations from Kerri ní Dochartaigh, Richard King, Emma Warren, Rob Gallagher and Max Porter, and tunes from DJ Stephen “Spoonful” Parker. More info and tickets here.
