Kevin Boniface marks over a decade of documenting Huddersfield in words and film.

On the 3rd of August 2010 I began a project with the working title The Most Difficult Thing Ever. My intention was to build a portrait of the area in which I live and work. Making use of the ‘blog’ format, I committed to regular updates comprising a short piece of descriptive text and accompanying video. To date, the project has lasted over ten years and has spawned various exhibitions, readings, and a book, Round About Town published by Uniformbooks in 2018 (uniformbooks.co.uk) This film samples ten years of video from the project, listing every featured location beginning and ending with the bottle bank in Southgate, Huddersfield.
