Here are the results of our latest newsletter competition…
Last week, we had three copies of Paddle Boarding Wales Cymru by Lise Drewe to give away. We asked:
What is the name of the longest river in Wales?
And the answer we were looking for is: The River Tywi (sometimes called the River Towy).
Thanks to reader Barry Vincent, amongst others, who pointed out. ‘It depends on whether you mean the longest river in Wales alone? The Tywi is Wales’ longest river at 75 miles (it only flows through Wales). But the River Severn at 220 miles long is the longest River in Great Britain. It rises in Wales but ends in England.’
The winners are Phil Venton, Jo Sinclair and Gary Smith. Your books will be with you very soon!
Thanks for all the entries. To be in with the chance of winning our next prize, make sure you’re subscribed to our mailing list. The sign-up box can be found in the sidebar.
