We’ve just taken delivery of two new titles from the lovely Ancient Magic Books — an independent publisher established in Cornwall in 2020.

The collection of short stories that comprise West are an invitation to step into the world of spirited local surf scene in West Cornwall. Above all, they encompass Pete Geall’s passion and love for the coastline of Cornwall and the folks that reside there. This is the second edition of the book, featuring more stories, poetry and photographs plus a new postcard and sticker included.

Pete’s writing is accompanied by artwork and photographs from his friends. With the book comes a sticker designed by Will Ritson and a postcard by painter Imogen Allen. With artwork by Al Mackinnon, Imogen Allen, Jack Johns, Luke Gartside, Maisie Marshall and Will Riston, and foreword by Mikey Lay.
