The Quietus At Leisure: London Short Film Festival trailer from theQuietus on Vimeo.
From Quietus editor and Caught by the River contributor Luke Turner:
Next Wednesday(15 Jan), we’re heading to the London Short Film Festival to screen three films from our forthcoming The Quietus At Leisure documentary series that looks at what our favourite musicians get up to in their spare time. The films we’re showing on January 15th at the Hackney Picturehouse, London will be: Stephen Morris (Joy Division, New Order) on his military vehicle collection; Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Grinderman, The Cramps, Sonic Youth) on Tiki cocktail culture; Cosey Fanni Tutti (Throbbing Gristle, Chris & Cosey, Carter Tutti) on vegetable gardening. You can watch the trailer above, and note that the screening is in support of the mighty Teeth Of The Sea performing their live soundtrack to their own re-edit of Ben Wheatley’s A Field In England.
